The Sullivan County Department of Personnel is responsible for maintaining a position classification plan covering all the civil divisions under its jurisdiction which includes the County, towns, villages, school districts, libraries and special districts. Job specifications are formal written statements which define the duties and responsibilities of the job, list typical work activities, specify the knowledge, skills, abilities and personal characteristics required for successful performance of the work and identify minimum qualifications required at the time of appointment.
